Chapter History

Maria Van Buren Chapter was granted a charter January 30, 1976.
The chapter was organized as the "Van Buren Chapter", but due
to confusion with the county's name, permission was granted to change
the name to "Maria Van Buren", who was the Mother of Martin Van Buren.
