Chapter History
In the last year of the first World War, Robert Rosamond Chapter came into being, organized in February 1918 and chartered November 30, 1918.
To honor the Organizing Regent, Mrs. Uarda Rosamond Garrett, the chapter was named for her ancestor, Robert Rosamond, a Revolutionary
soldier, who enlisted from Pennsylvania and fought under General Henry Lee. He was a member of 'Light Horse' Harry Lee's Legion of Cavalry and was commended for bravery.
