Welcome to the Captain Robert Abernethy Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, chartered in Warren, Arkansas!
Captain Robert Abernethy Chapter was organized February 7, 1986. Captain Robert Abernethy Chapter is unique in that all nineteen organizing members are the Captain’s direct descendents.
Captain Robert Abernethy was a member from July to October 1776 of the expedition commanded by General Rutherford against Cherokee Indians.
In Civil Service, he was a member of the Provincial Congress for Tryon County (now Lincoln County) North Carolina, which convened at Halifax in 1776 to form our Constitution.
Warren is the home of the Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival.
